Change color of a highlighted cell

I need a "louder" color to call my attention to a highlighted cell, RED would be great. How do I accomplish that?

Hi.

Select the cells you wish to color by highlighting them

The use Format > Cells and click the Patterns tab.

Or, if you mean to change the highlight color, Excl gets this from the
system preferences. Change the highlight in the appearance panel of system
preferences Then quit and restart Excel for the change to take place.
