Change color of new text

I can use
Selection.Font.Color = wdColorBlue
to change color of existing font.

How can I set the color of the text I'm about to type?
(The font color menu button does this, but I want to make a quick-key macro)

You would probably want to use some sort of toggle macro to toggle
between your default color e.g., wdColorAutomatic and wdColorBlue:

Sub TogFont()
If Selection.Font.Color = wdColorAutomatic Then
Selection.Font.Color = wdColorBlue
Else
Selection.Font.Color = wdColorAutomatic
End If
End Sub

WordBasic.FontColor
