We have document that we have used the track changes
feature on. We created the document with all black text.
We sent to our client; they marked up the document (using
Track Changes) in blue. We then made our changes in color
red using track changes feature. We sent it back to the
client. They made more changes -- but in pink color this
time. Now we are trying to make more changes -- in
another color -- but we are having a problem. When we go
into the track changes - options feature to chnage the
color to say "green", it changes the original edits! We
have tried changing our USER Name (under Tools - Options -
User Info) but the new color still won't take.). How do we
get Word to think we are another user? I know you can
have up to eight edit colors on one document.
What are we doing wrong? We need to have a separate color
each time the document gets edited.
Thanks for your help.
