Change colour of an image in a picture

O

Oxygenate

I have a logo in picture format which is in a word doc. I want to change the
colour of the logo (not the backgound!). Suggestions (polite) very welcome.
I don't mind being treated as an idiot.

I'd be happy to be proved wrong, but I don't think you can do this in Word
(certainly not easily). Word 2007 has finally acquired Publisher's Recolor
Picture command, but it just substitutes a color for black IIRC. I suspect
you'll have to open the graphic in an actual illustration or photo editing
application to make the change.

The exception might be if the logo is actually a clip art image... you might
possibly be able to recolor components of that.

Is the logo a photograph? a bmp or jpg or other graphic image... or is it a
traditional "clip art" image?
