Change date in Notes?

T

T. Wise

When I create an Entourage Note, Entourage creates a DATE entry, based
on the date the item was created in Entourage. Is it possible to change
this date?

And if not - if it can only be the date the note was actually cretaed (or
editted) - is there some way I can create a CUSTOM column into which I could
place a date of my choice?

No, there isn't. Why don't you just add the date in brackets to the name of
the Note? You won't be able to sort by date - because it's text - but if
that's important you could prefix the date _before_ the name, using this
format: [2005-06-02], with full 4-digit year, year-month-day, and always
with leading 0 for months and days less than 10. You'd have to add it to
_every_ note if you want to sort all of them, or just the subset you're
interested in otherwise.
