Change default date for export

I export last week's appointments from my calendar to a
file every week for time reporting purposes. When I get to
the date range, it always shows a 4 month range around the
current month. Is there a way to change this default range
to a week, or even the current month so I would have to
change it less? Once in a while I forget to change the
year or something and get a lot more data than I need.
