Change default date range units in "View My Task"

Hi there,

Does anyone know how to change default date range units in "View My Task"
page from "weeks" to "days"?

We are using MS Project Server 2003 with PWA. We found that in the "View My
Task" page of resources it shows timesheet in "weeks" units. We would like to
change it to "days".

I have tried to check in Manage Views in Admin page. There is no setting for
date range units. In the past I remember it was showed in days units.

Please help if you can.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
just go to

PWA -> Server Settings -> Timesheet Settings and Defaults -> Timesheet Grid
Column Units and change units from weeks to days.

Hope this resolves the matter.

Oh, just see you're talking about version 2003. Sorry! I cannot help you
there but I am pretty sure there's a setting on the admin page to set units

Dear Peter,

It's work!

You gave me the crue. I went to Admin page. Then to the Customized Project
Web Access menu. And I set resource should report their hours worked every
day.
I saved the setting and now it work.

Thank you so much.

Hi,
We are using version 2003, and we are also facing the same situation but in
reversse. We want to change the date range units from "days" to "weeks".
please suggest how we can do this. as mentioned, in customized project we
access menu we have tried setting the option "resource should report their
work every week" and saved it but there is no change, also the date range
units drop down menu is not activated in the resource center view page.
please suggest to how to enable it.

Dear Novice,

I'm not so sure.
Please try set to monthly, with 2 weeks spanned and let resources report for
a week. Then at the tasks page, be sure to set long period i.e a month or
more.
