My defaul font is 12-pitch. Word automatically sets the footnote font to
10-pitch. I would like to set the default for the "Footnote" style to a
smaller pitch, but it is not available in the "styles" list, nor can I select
all similar.
I do a lot of research papers. I post the URL in the footnote. Today's
URLs tend to be very long, and leaves half a line above as it jumps to the
next line. By reducing the font to 9 or 8, the notes are more presentable.
I also prefer to have them in a different font style.
