Change default for inserting pics/photos

I'm inserting photographic pics from the web into my Word doc. I'd like to reset the default so that all pics do not "overlap" use "tight" text features, and "do not move anchor with text." I know how to do this one at a time, is there a default setting for photos

I found the default for "pictures" and changed it, but when I insert new pics/photos, they revert to the standard format. thanks for helping!
