Change default graphics editor

In the Word Help Files it talks about Changing the default program for
editing imported graphics and it says to Click on the Tools menu, click
Options, and then click the Edit tab. Then in the Picture editor box, click
the program you want to use to modify imported graphics. The problem I have
is that there is nothing listed there but Microsoft Word. Is there a way to
change that?

Prior to Office 2003 there were two choices. MS Word and MS Office Photo Editor. MS dropped the Photo Editor program from Office
after Office XP, leaving only MS Word (unless Photo Editor is installed from an earlier version of Office).

It doesn't support 3rd party graphics programs for editing directly for Inserted Pictures.
