I have seen that slider that says do you want FP to save your jpgs at 75 I
usually slide it to 100.
why is it there if it's not doing something? Maybe it only refers to the
buttons and graphics you make in FP not the photos you insert?
I do not want FP to modify my image sizes or properties.
There are also some gif settings in that GUI.
message I was just messing around trying to get FP to replicate this and could
not...even by not Importing the image the correct way.
The only way I even get FP to prompt to save the image is not importing it,
rather Copy/Paste...but that still did not mess with the resolution either.
| Re-read my original reply. It is NOT changing your dpi. Just leave the
| settings completely alone.

| | | Thanks for all the prompt responese. All the images were imported. I
use
| | Photoshop to do all my editing and optimizing. If I change the page at
| | all...even just some text...it wants to resave the images and I know
it's
| | because it wants to take them back down to 75 because I made the mistake
| of
| | letting it re-save them before and it was definitely a noticable
| difference
| | when viewing the pages. Sigh.
| |
| | Maybe it's time I found a more versatile or newer page editor...any
| | suggestions? I am a software developer by day but the site is for the
art
| | photography I do on the side so I do like the time-saving simplicity of
| FP.
