change default month accounting period

I need to be able to view data (task or resource usage view) per m
accounting periods which are different than a normal month. An

Unfortunately Project has never provided the functionality for user
defined accounting months. Consequently, the only way to easily view
accounting month data from Project is to export the data to another
application (e.g. Excel). This is doable via a VBA macro or if you are
using Project 2007, you could use the Visual Reports feature to export
the timescaled data and then arrange it into accounting months in Excel.

Project Server 2007 allows the Project Server administrator to create
Financial Periods that reflect a company's accounting system. However, this
information is only visible in Project Web Access, and cannot be viewed in
the actual Microsoft Project plan in any View. Sorry.
