I have a word document in a dedicated folder. I can change the default save
folder to the save folder that the original document is saved in - I have
created a desktop shortcut to the original and then I can save a different
version of it without having the original affected. However I would like to
save the save as copy to a folder within the dedicated folder but changing
the default save folder doesn't cause word to go to the folder within the
folder. I can see the folder in the list in the window and can select and
then save to that folder but I would like it to display in the Save in drop
down window as the default folder and then just provide a file name and
click save.
Hope this isn't too confusing.
Any help would be appreciated.
