Onenote opens in very small in minamized view. Is there a way to change the
default size the program opens?

Thanks,

Minimized? Or Restored?

You can either modify the icon from which you launch the program and set
the Run: setting to Maximized (on the shortcut Tab) or set the ON window
to the size you want, then hold down the Shift key as you click on the red
X in the upper right corner to close OneNote. This forces OneNote to
remember its window size. When you next start OneNote, it should remember
the window size you set previously.

Thanks, Eric. That solved the problem.

Interesting trick, hadn't heard about this one before. Is this
something specific to OneNote, or is it an overall Windows feature for
all apps?

I have used that method with Internet Explorer many times over the years.
It is operating system-specific, not application-specific.

It's a Windows trick which should apply to all applications. It's been
there since W95, IIRC.

First I'd heard about it. Amazing the things you learn about OTHER
stuff just by hanging around the OneNote newsgroup! ;-)
