change default spacing at end of sentence

The default settting for Word is to put 1 space at the end
of a sentence or after a period (i.e., number, list,
etc.). We are used to 2 spaces and my boss sometimes uses
3 or 4 depending on her sense of spacing at the moment.

Somewhere I ran across how to change the default to 2 and
changed my setting. Now I want to change my boss' but now
can't remember where I found it and just looking around
hasn't led me to it.

Can someone help?

There's no way to change the default, but you can set the grammar checker to
notify you when the rules you set are not obeyed (you can choose either one
or two spaces as your preference).

The only feature I know of is the grammar checker.
Tools/Options/Spelling & Grammar and click the Options
button.
