Chris

Hello,

Currently my instance of Project2003 is sepupt and working fine at:
http://project.mydomain.com/projectserver

however some users still continue to connect to: http://project.mydomain.com

and then complain project web access is not working correctly..

how can i redirect users to the correct address? i have tried a
redirect.html file in the root similar to the way my OWA instlalation
functions but this does not work..

any help would be much appreciated

regards

Chris

Sorry I'm unable to understand that template part. Can you or some one
explain?

You shouldn't be getting any error after following steps in that article.
The only thing I can think of is that you might have missed someting in the
steps which is not properly redirecting you to site.

Other thing is you mentioned FQDN name in your earlier post. Do you have any
internet / extranet users besides local users? Provide some details on your
setup for us to give you some clue to this.

sorry, i poorly explained that..

by template i mean the defualt WSS template, when it akss you to choose
which you want, i.e. team site, blank site, document workspace etc etc..

its not actually an error, but i think it might be becasue of this page,
that the index.html isnt loading and the redirection does not occur..

anyway, i have since learnt that standard users (even admins) cannot access
this page.. and are forced to connect to the /projectserver URL so its not a
big deal

thanks very much for your help!!
