Change Default Window Split in Query Designer?

The very first thing I do whenever I create a new query is to drag the
window divider down so that the grid pane is smaller and I have more room to
see columns in the tables I'm working with. Is it possible to change the
default split location so I could avoid having to do this (a million times a
day if I'm doing some intensive data massage)?

Actually I just tried that (since you prompted) in A2k2.

If I drag it down in one query, AND SAVE THE QUERY, then it "sticks" for that
query. Other queries not affected.

Same for a new query, when saved.

Same settings seem to be retained if I save in SQL view. I think that's pretty
neat!

I'm not aware of a way to change the "default", no.
