Change defaults options in Picture Manager

As per suggestion from the Office group, I am posting this question here too.

Is there a way to change the "Compress Pictures Settings" or the predifined
"Resize Settings"? I would like to know if it is possible to change the
defaults, including the fact that "Compress Pictures for Web pages" chooses
the "Predefined width x height" to "Web Small" size, instead of the "Web
Large."

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Picture Manager is not a very fancy application and is designed for the
"average" user. If you want more flexibility and control you might want to use
an image editor. They come in all flavors and prices, but Paint Shop Pro from
Jasc is excellent.
