Hi,

How do you delete project files that you don't want in MS-Project Server?

Secondly, how do you do re-name files in Project Server?

What version ? In 2003 you cannot rename a file , unless you do a save
as something else,
In 2007 you can rename a file from MSP, Go file - Open - Select a
server file - Right Click - rename - Type new name. Deselct the file,
it should notify you that the rename job has been submitted to the
server.

For deleting projects go to the admin page in 2003 or the server
setting page in 2007. In 2007 go to clean up project server database.
In 2003 go to Delete enterprise objects.

You can rename a file on PS 2003 by using the project renamer tool - it is
something you will have to download

For 2007, I would suggest renaming the project using the Project Properties
section of PWA. Select the project from Project Senter and then click the
Project Properties button at the top. Just rename and save. I believe this
is the cleanest way in 2007.
