Change Document Properties or display custom ones

When inserting document propoerties into a template is there any way to
modify the name that it displays? e.g. the [Title] can this be changed for
example to Report Title and [Subject] to Report Name so our staff know what
this field is relating to??

If not is there a way to display your custom properties in the display area
when hovered over by the mouse in Windows Explorer??
