change email address of contact in distribution group

Does Outlook2007 change the email address of member in a group if I have
changed email address of individual's profile. When I hit UPDATE when I am
in a group listing, (e-mail address removed) does not change to (e-mail address removed) even
tho I have changed his email address in his individual listing. Must I
update each group joeblow is in manually? Thanks for help

Clicking "Update Now" will update any changed addresses of people in your
Contacts list.

I had tried that and nothing happened.
When I had 2003 it updated automatically.

And this is a contact that has a contact record in your contacts folder?
What if you delete them from the Distribution list then re-add them from
their contact? I'm thinking that perhaps when you first added them to the
Distribution List that you just added them as an e-mail address and not as a
Contact -- OL doesn't know that they're the same person.
