change external database properties programatically

Note: please disregard my previous post similiar to this one. ---

How do I programmatically set the following database properties of an
external database (these properties are boolean and found in Tools/Startup
window):

- Display Database Window
- Display Status Bar
- Allow Full Menus
- Allow Default Shortcut Menus
- Allow Buit-in Toolbars
- Allow Toolbar/Menu Changes

Thank you but I don't know if this is what I need. What I meant was use VBA
to toggle true/false the properties I listed of an external database.
Please continue to help.

I have created a Properties Setter utility that can be used to set database
properties on an external database provided there is no module password
protection. If the database uses Access User Level Security, you will have
to have a userID and password of an Admins member.

You can download the utility from the Files>Utilities_addins Section in my
Yahoo group at:
http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/MS_Access_Professionals/

You will have to join the group in order to gain access to the Files
section.

after I entered my yahoo usn/pw it says: "sorry, forbidden, You don't have
