Change FONT attributes causes crash

I can no longer change attributes of FONTS. Size, font
type, etc. It just closes the program.

My problem might be linked - change font in Word 2000 installed inside the
latest version of XP Home Edition and there's a very long wait for the font
list to appear and sometimes it never does and ends up as 'Not Responding'.
