Change font size of Help screens

H

hmm

Recently, all Office Help screens displayed smaller-sized fonts. I can't say
for sure that I didn't do something to change it; does anyone know how I can
re-enlarge the Help screen fonts?

Hold Ctrl and use the wheel on your mouse to 'scroll' the font to a larger
size or in the Internet Explorer, change the text size to a large size.

Thanks Beth. Unfortunately, holding Ctrl and scrolling the mouse wheel did
not do anything. Perhaps I should have told you: I am using Office 2000 (9.0
3821 SR-1). Does that help?

Bob Buckland ?:-\)

The help files in Office 2000 are HTML based and Internet Explorer's engine is used to display them. If you're in IE see if
changing the IE setttings for View=>Text Size (Alt, V, X) changes your Office 2000 help file display size.

Thanks Bob. That did the trick, albeit in a roundabout fashion: I changed
the size from medium to larger, but then the fonts in IE (in this forum) were
too large. I then changed them back to medium, and then all fonts were
appropriately sized.
