Change from project to windows authentification (mixed mode)

Hi there,

our project server now is within an ADS. Of course we wanna use the windows
authentification for the users that are in the ADS.

I don't wanna manage the groups in the ADS - I just wanna synchonize the
usernames and passwords - Johm Smith becomes the jonny01 with his password of
the ADS.

Is that possible?

I yes, what needs to be done:
- change the user to windows authentification
- set his right windows username
- copy his "real name" to the user-name field

What else?

Hans:

You're leaving us to imagine some of the details here, but it sounds like
you're moving from a system where the users are PS authenticated and you now
want to change them to Windows Auth. If my interpretation of your question
is correct, I think your best bet is to tackle the changes manually if your
Project Server resource names do not match the naming conventions in active
directory.

From the Project Server computer, can't he just go to the Admin section
of PWA, Server Configuration, and specify an Active Directory group to
synchronize with the resource pool?
