Change in Start and Finish Dates

Dear Friends,

I m using Project 2007. When I change date in Actual Start and Actual Finish
column, same dates appear in Start and Finish column. Wht is the solution for
this problem...........?

Hello,

That is not a problem. That's normal. Maybe what you expected to compare is
the Baseline Start and Baseline Finish.
Before entering any progress information, set the Baseline of your project:
Tools / Tracking / Set Baseline...
Then you can insert the 2 fields or display a table like Variance.

This is actually the correct behaviour.

If you want the application to remember the original planned dates,
the easiest way is to save a baseline before starting to record
progress.
