change inches to centimetres when resizing or formattings photos

When formatting photos how do I change my default sizes from inches to
centimetres

Hi,

This is something set outside of PowerPoint and affects images as well as
other settings.

PowerPoint ruler shows inches instead of centimetres. Or vice versa.

Hi Dolly,

I think it's an all or nothing deal for changing from using inches to
centimeters.

In Microsoft Word, click on Tools, Options, General tab and change
Meaurement Units from inches to centimeters. (These are the steps in Word
2000, may be slightly different in other versions).
