Change Information Diplayed when Creating New Distribution List

I would like to creat a new distribution list. I click on new distribution list, box pops up asking for name of the new list and select members from... I choose Contacts and the list comes up with Name, Display Name, Email Address and Email Type. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to change these defaults? I would like to know which category the contact person is in so I can easily make distribution list for sales, mfg., etc. Thank you.

No, you cannot change the address book display.
