change latin characters

Does anyone have a quick and easy way to change latin characters into the
english counterpart? I can't speak latin or spanish so I'm not sure what
they all are.

The Latin alphabet IS the English alphabet. It doesn't use any extra
letters. We inherited the alphabet from the Romans...

The only Spanish character that is in common use which does not occur
in English is ñ, enye, which would be anglicized (if at all) as ny.
