Change Layout Of Default Contract Form

According to the Outlook 2003 help file, you can change the General
page of the contact form. All I want to do is add some controls for
existing fields. I don't want any new fields. I just want to be able
to view some information that only appear if you pick the appropriate
selection on the All Fields Page. For example, I want to see the home
address information also. For that matter, I'd like to see the
nickname field.

Searching on google and reviewing the linked advice from the
outlookcode.com site seems to indicate what I want to do is not
possible.

Thanks in advance

It's certainly possible to add more fields to the General page, although
with consequences. What makes you think that it isn't?

I'm not sure how to answer that. Obviously, if I knew the answer, I
wouldn't ask. If I somehow offended you, I apologize. I was merely
hoping that what I wanted to do would be relatively simple and not have
far reaching consequences.

That's the reason I was asking the question. It's not a function of
whether I think it will or will not. If I had not performed some due
diligence, I would not have expected that modifying the form would
cause me to lose the new general page with the picture. I'm not even
sure if that is the case. Seems kind of glitchy to me to allow people
to modify something and then end up with something entirely different.
I would be most happy if that is not the case.

So, what are the consequences?

I was actually enquiring if you'd run into some problem while trying to
modify the contact form. If you don't know where to start, Tools | Forms |
Design a Form is the first step.
