Change Mail Alerts Sound Volume

Entourage 2004 OSX.3.7

A small problem:

I use a script+rule to play specific sounds depending on incoming/outgoing
mail recipients.

Although I have my system alerts sound volume minimized, Entourage insists
on playing those sounds at full system volume.

I may be missing something... but can anyone advise me on how to minimise
the volume of these sounds as well?

Unfortunately, Entourage doesn't provide any facility for doing that. You'd
need to use a program like Detour to do this.
