Change Names

I can't change the name...it's ambiguous. I have a user form with an option
group called frmBalTrackAggEmbed1. It has two options that are called
optBalTrackAgg1 and optBalTrackEmbed1. Originally these existed without the
1 behind them but were accidentally deleted. They were then recreated but I
couldn't use the same name again because it was ambiguous so the 1 had to be
added to the end of each name. Why am I not allowed to use the same name
again if the original option group was deleted? How do I change the names?
Thanks in advance for the help.

Are you sure that they were deleted? If they were, the names should be
available again.

If the names are not available, then either they were not deleted and are
still hiding behind something else, or the template/document has become
corrupt.

Try exporting the userfom and then importing it into another document. Try
changing the names there... If you can, the previous doucment is corrupt, if
you cannot, there is something wrong/amiss with your userform.

I was moving everything around and deleting items one at a time. Eventually
I was able to change the name and that's when I discovered it was really
dragged into one of the other option groups and not deleted. Once I got rid
of the original it was fine

Thank you for your help.
