change number to text..

In my form I need to change my Invoice# from number to text. I went to the
table to change it but I cant because it is part of a relationship. When I
delete the relationship and go to change it, it will let me but then when I
make the relationship again and go back to the form I get..The expression is
typed incorrectly or is to complex to be evaluated. For example a numeric
expression may contain to many complicated elements. Can someone help me?

Not unless you post the expression, no.

Did you change the datatype in BOTH tables involved in the relationship? If
not... do so and reestablish the relationship.
