Change of Predecessor after baseline doenst change the start date

Hello,

I tried to change the predecessor after baselining, but the start date is
not updating according to the change in the predecesor. Can anyone explain
why its happening so?

I can't figure out what you are asking. Are you saying that the successor
task's Start date does not change after you change something in a
predecessor? Or are you saying the Baseline Start date does not change for
the successor task? Let us know.

Assuming that you are referring to "Start" and not "Baseline Start",
could it possibly be that there is some kind of a hard constraint on
"Start" that prevents it from moving?
