Change Office 2004 License

I have a student version of Office 2004 installed in my home on 2
systems (I have 3 licenses), however when I my installed the 2nd
license on his Mac he used the same license and they conflict if
either of us use the office suite at the same time. How can I remove
or change the key so we can both live in harmony. I have tried to
remove it and the prefs without success.

Thanks

The trick is to run the Remove Office Tool that came with it. You ask
it to forget the licence info by holding down the option key while on
the first screen to choose "remove licensing info"
It does so, and gracefully fails to remove the rest of Office.
Next time you start it up, offer the so-far-unused key when it asks.

I have the same problem of conflicting licenses on my network but with Office 2008.
I tried the method you said, but did not work.

How can I remove/change the cd key of office 2008?

Thanks

Sorry Paul:

I can't tell which method you tried.

The "Remove Office" method should work.

Cheers
