When I try to open attachments in outlook,office opens and tries to open
it,through some kind of file conversion attempt.How do you configure outlook
to autoselect adobe reader to open pdf files,(and similarly for other

That's a Windows setting. Outlook will follow whatever file associations
you've created in Windows.
