Change or Remove Tab options (e.g., Documentelements, quick tables)

In any document there is the option of clicking on tabs that say "Document Elements" "Quick Tables" etc. These tabs annoy me because I like to minimize the number of lines of toolbars so that I can see more of the document.

If anyone knows how to hide or get rid of these I would be eternally grateful!

Sorry - Can't be done. Use Help> Send Feedback to add your comments to the
data tracked by MacBU. The best you can do is click the oblong button at the
right end of the Title Bar to hide all Docked toolbars, but the Element
Gallery buttons will remain visible.

No one, who uses Word just for typing needs this feature. So please add an option to get rid off this bar, which is just wasting space.

I'm afraid you're wasting your time & energy pleading your case here. It
isn't that anyone disagrees, but those who participate here are merely other
users of the product. We have no say in what MS decides to do beyond voicing
our opinion just like anyone else - including yourself. This, however, is
not the place to be heard by MS.

If you feel that strongly about any aspect of Word (or any other MS program)
use Help> Send Feedback to forward your comments to the developers &
managers who *do* make the decisions. That's not to say that everything or
anything suggested will be implemented/changed, but it will be considered &
evaluated. The more the demand for any given change the more likely it will
take place via an update or in a future release. A great deal of the current
design is the result of customer feedback.
