Change paper size

I am using an Epson R300 printer and I can't seem to be able to alter
the paper size in the print properties box, it only has A4 available.
I can change the size in page setup, but this does not change the size
the printer wants to print on.
This only seems to be happen Publisher, if I try it in Adobe Photoshop
for instance I have many paper sizes available.

Yes, I can change the size in page setup, but when I go to print, the
printer properties box still has A4 and no other sizes. If I try to
print on A5 paper I dont get the whole page, as If it wants to print
A5 size in the middle of an A4 sheet of paper. Yet it does not do that
with Word, or Adobe. It is as if the printer interface and Publisher
are not compatable.
