change paper size

i always need to change the paper size before print
how i can make the excel can be default set to other paper
size?
i'm using excel 2000

It uses whatever size you have specified in the printer. If you want it
to default to a different size, open the printer and change the default
paper size.

Hi Anson,

If you are going to File/Page Setup to change your paper size then you
can create a new default workbook:

- Create a new workbook
- Go to File/Page Setup and change the paper size, margins, etc
- Make any other changes to the workbook that you wish to use as the
defaults
- Go to File/Save As
- Change the "Save as Type" to "Template *(.xlt)
- Name the workbook "Book.xlt" (without the quotes)
- Save Book.xlt in the XLStart folder

The default location of the XLStart folder is in the installation path
for Office.

- Save and close Book.xlt
- Exit and restart Excel and verify the new default settings

To create a new default for insert worksheets:

- Create a new workbook based on the new default
- Delete all but one worksheet
- Save the workbook as a template named "Sheet.xlt" in the XLStart
folder
