Change path for Detect and Repair

Is there a way to change the patch for the Detect and Repair option.
originally, we used a network location to install Office. That location no
longer exists and when I try to use the repair function, it comes up with the
old path location and will not allow me to type anything else.

Any ideas how to change that. I am hoping maybe it is a registry key

What type of location are you trying to change to?

If you deployed Office 2003 from an Office Admin Point then the Local Installation Source (LIS) may not have been created \MSOCache
The MSOCache would be the first 'source' for a repair. If not available then you may need to do a recache of the apps from a new CD
location or CD image (copy) location [if users can't browse] for the install location.

You can change the registry to indicate a secondary location (Method 2 link in
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/267362/en-us?FR=1
but it won't always work in a 'mix n' match' scenario of 'was a network admin point' now isn't.

I am not sure if it is an Office Admin point. it was just a UNC path on a
remote file server. That path is no longer valid, so when I try to use the
Detect and Repair, it tries to go to that locaiton and, again, not the option
to do anything else.
