change Project Charter layout?

In PS07 Web, when I click on Project Center, my projects are shown with
pre-determined column headings (Project Name, Start, Finish,%Cmpt, Work,
Duration, Owner). How can I change the column headings to pull in different
information or even just to change the order they are displayed in?

You can change the order of the columns by dragging them around. Click and
hold your mouse pointer on a column header to "grab" the column and then
drag it to its new location. To see different columns, you can click the
Views pick list and selecting a different View that contains different
columns. Beyond this, your Project Server administrator can create new
Views that contain other columns not visible in any default View. Hope this
helps.

Thanks Dale ~ with the information you already provided me, how would I (as
the PS Administrator) customize the Project Charter view at an enterprise
level so all the users would see it exactly how I want them to?

I'm confused. When you used the term Project Charter, I assumed you meant
Project Center. There is no default Project Charter page that I am aware of
in PWA. Is this Project Charter page something that someone created as
custom content in your PWA? Let us know.

Dale ~ you're right - I meant to say In the Project Center (not charter).
Can the Project Center be customized at an enterprise level? if so, how?

In PWA, click the Server Settings link in the Quick Launch menu, then click
the Manage Views link. You will see several default Project Center views on
the Manage Views page. Before you do anything else, I would recommend that
you study the definition of each default View to see how Microsoft set up
these Views. Then study the appearance of each View in the Project Center.
This will help you to create your own custom Project Center views. Hope
this helps.

I have my customized Enterprise level view, but now can I make it the default
when users log in, so it automatically pops up to display their information?

You can't. The first time a user accesses the Project Center page, the
system will display the Summary view. If a user selects your custom Project
Center view, however, the system will reapply that custom View every time
the user returns to the Project Center page. Therefore, you need to make
this a training issue with everyone who needs to see your custom View. Hope
this helps.
