Hello,
i got the following situation:
within my company the admin of a project manages the InfoPath templates on a
desktop, and publish them to the document fileserver. Our inspectors will
copy those templates to their tablet pc's and when they are on site they will
fill in the forms.
Because on site there is no internet or local network available we copy the
published templates to their local hard disk and change the href to the new
local template folder. To manage this i build a program like which does
almost the same like pifix.exe (from the infopath 2003 SDK).
Recently we moved the template folder to a new server and we are looking for
a way to change the publishUrl inside the template(s).
Is there a solution for to program this functionality in our application?
Cause we might relocate or rename the server in the future and re-publish all
templates is not an option
thanks for any suggestion.
