We develope simulation environments for training and serious-gaming.
In the current simulator we are developing, we intend on using Exchange and Outlook for our electronic messaging. In this environment there is the real time and the mission time (i.e. the time that the training scenario is running at). The mission time and the real time are not the same.
We want the emails the be timestamped with the mission time. We can develope a dll or service to run on the client running Outlook that will provide the mission time (naturally the system clock would still provide the real time).
How can Outlook be configured to use an alternative clock (i.e. the service providing the mission time) for timestamping emails?
What is the format of the time and interface mechanism of the alternative time source?
