Change Server Settings on 11,000 clients - Outlook & OE

I have roughly 11,000 mailserver clients that pop off of
my mailserver. We are currently using mail.<ourdomain>.com
for POP3 and SMTP (Don't ask me why this was done like
that!) I have implemented POP3.<ourdomain>.com to direct
traffic to my pop server and implemented
SMTP.<ourdomain>.com to send SMTP traffic to our mail
firewall (which is not the same server). My question is...
Is there any kind of script or something to send to my
users that will reconfigure their settings? As everyone
knows putting this in the hands of the users is asking for
disaster. Ideas?
