Change spreadsheet by moving graph points?

I am trying to find a way to move a graph point around and then have it tell
me what the new number would be in my spreadsheet? Is this possible?

It used to be. If you haven't upgraded to Excel 2007, it still is possible.
Select the point (one single click to select the series, another to select
the point). If it's a marker, put the cursor over the point and it will
become a 2-headed arrow (line chart) or 4-headed arrow (XY chart). If it's a
bar or column, put the cursor at the end of the bar and it will become a
2-headed arrow. Drag this arrow to change the value being plotted. The cell
containing the value will change. If the cell contains a formula, Excel's
Goal Seek function will be activated to let you decide which input to the
formula will result in the changed value.

This feature of using a data point on the graph to goal seek was the best
tool in excel's arsenal. Why was it removed? I urge others not to upgrade to
excel 2007 until it is restored. I 'm grateful for the 60 day trial,
otherwise I would have wasted money on a progam that is less powerful then
excel 97.

This hasn't been addressed to date! Why would they remove this feature?
Unfortunately I can't downgrade at this point, but agree with Kendal, do not
upgrade to 2007, not worth the trouble!
