Change Start Date

Hi group

Simple question.. .what Method do I use to change the
darn Start Date of an existing project....

I've been searching the .htm files in the SDK all morning
and can't find it

Please help

Hi Cheryl,

It depends.
If there are no dated constraints nor actuals in the project, Project,
Project Information, change teh start date, OK.
If you have constraints that have to move along with the new date, show the
analysis toolbar, run Adjust dates.
If the project has actuals, you can still use AZdjust dates but the actual
dates will not move.

Thanks for the help... but is there a way to do this
through the PDS? I meant the XML method to perform this
operation..

Since changes to the database do not take effect until the project is opened
and recalculated in project, then no, you need to include a round-trip
through project.
