All,
I am trying to find a way to change the properties of FileMaker Pro files
that are exported as SYLK (slk in the Finder) to open using Excel as the
default.
The easy part is making the change using Get Info to use Excel (and then,
Change All) the hard part is how to make that change to a large number of
Macs for users that are not very technical.
I tried copying the altered ³com.apple.LaunchServices.plist² to other Macs,
but that doesn¹t seem to work.
So, does anyone know if AppleScript could be used for this? I looked at
Automator, but I didn¹t see anything obvious there that was of potential
help.
Thanks,
Scott
