Change Technical4 over to Heading 1,2,3...etc HELP...AUGH!!!

I have some documents that were created using the
technical 4 style for numbering AND for text. I don't
know if technical4 is a widely used style or not (I've
never ran into it) and I want to convert it over to the
headings(1-9) for numbering to allow for easier
manipulation (Fonts, colors, etc) in each type of header.
I can't get technical 4 to cascade styles like headings 1-
9. There are other style types in the documents (normal
for text, body for text, etc) but I only want to change
the numbered outline from technical4 to headings1-9.

Is there anyway to change only the outline numbering that
is currently using technial4 to headings1-9?

Or do I have to go through each document and change
technical4 to Heading1-9 manually?

Thanks a bunch for anything ANYONE can do with this!

Hi Dave
The good news is you can search and replace styles or other formatting.

Don't input any text into the search and replace dialog. Instead, click the
More button.

Click the mouse cursor in the find what dialog and then click on the format
button that was displayed by clicking More. Choose Style and find the style
you want to replace.

Click in the replace with area, and then go to format, style and find the
style you want instead.

Click on replace a couple of times to ensure that you get the correct effect
and if you are happy replace all.
