I am trying to change the text on a saved jpg to reflect an update but i
don't seem to be able to. Has anyone tried this?
If the text is part of the picture, you can't do this with PowerPoint. You
could cover the text with a text box and put new text, but this will block
part of the picture (if it is also going to cover up the original text). The
best way to combine text and pictures in PowerPoint is to have the picture
separate from the picture and then use a text box to put the text over the
picture (you can choose from a variety of fill options, including no fill to
get the effect you want). You can group the text box and the picture if you
like so they stay together as you move them around.
