I have published the site to the internet but now when I go in to make
corrections and try to re send the corrected pages it kicks back the error
message and will not up load to the web.
Some times it will up load and other times I get the message to change FTP
Proxy settings. All day today I am getting the error message. I'm using
Publisher 2003

Please clarify. When you say that you "go in" and make corrections, are you
saying that you are making corrections in, or updating the Pub file? Also,
when you say you try to "re send the corrected pages" are you saying that
you are trying to upload just those pages, and not all the new HTML files?

Assuming the answer to the first question is yes, then no problem. Assuming
the answer to the second is also yes, then that is a problem. When you
update your Publisher file, and produce new HTML files, you would be less
likely to have problems if you delete all the old files from your webhost
before you upload the new (index.htm and the index_files folder). Your
problem might be as simple as a problem trying to over write the old files.

Which version of Publisher are you using?

Yes David I go into the Publisher Files make the corrections then try to
upload them (all pages) . Okay so you say I should go into VDeck The Ipower
web host I'm using and delete the existing 4 web pages and up load the
corrected ones from my computer after that? I am using office Publisher 2003

That is what I would try, but in case it doesn't work, you could also just
rename the old files temporarily, by adding ".old" on the end of the file or
folder. Then if your new upload doesn't work, you can change the names back,
until you figure out your problem. And of course if the new files that you
upload work ok, then go back and delete the old files.

I am also assuming that when you say you have 4 pages, that you are talking
about an index.htm file plus three additional pages/files in the index.htm
folder.
